- This ABT accredited Back Massage Course is designed to help you learn a highly popular, professional body treatment that can be added to a salon, spa, or self-employed treatment menu. You will develop confidence in consultation, contraindications, treatment setup, massage routine flow, pressure control, client comfort, and aftercare so you can deliver a relaxing and professional back massage safely and effectively. Ideal for beginners or beauty therapists expanding into massage, this course is designed to support you in working professionally and seeking insurance, subject to your insurer’s terms. - Beginners entering massage/body treatments or beauty therapists who want to add a professional back massage service.
- Core theory includes health and safety, client care and communication, relevant anatomy and physiology, consultation, contraindications / contra-actions, aftercare, and step-by-step treatment procedure. Practical training then focuses on treatment set-up, posture and body mechanics, massage mediums, pressure control, routine flow, massage movements, client comfort, and adapting the treatment professionally. You will also build stronger understanding of product knowledge, treatment adaptation, troubleshooting, and professional standards.
- Your course fee includes tutor-led training, blended learning support, learner materials / manual, practical demonstration, guided hands-on training, in-class products and supplies for training days, assessment support, and certification on successful completion. AuraLuxe learners also receive guidance designed to build real confidence, professional standards, and readiness to work with clients.
- This course is delivered through blended learning, combining online theory with in-house practical training where relevant. Courses may be available on selected weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, or full-day sessions depending on the course type and current availability. 1:1 and small-group training options are offered as separate products, and we will always try to match a suitable option to your goals and availability.
