Units Included: UV20398 Provide Facial Skincare UV20453 Client Care & Communication in Beauty-Related Industries UV20483 Follow Health & Safety Practice in the Salon If you are looking to embark on a career as a therapist specialising in facial skincare treatments, our VTCT Level 2 Award in Facial Massage & Skincare (500/8884/1) designed to equip you with the knowledge, practical skills and industry-required qualification to be able do this with confidence. Students will need access to a pc to complete coursework and online exams. The Course is structured as follows: Practical Training covers; Health, safety & hygiene Consultation techniques Contraindications Facial skincare treatment routine Cleansing, toning & Exfoliation Skin analysis Facial massage Aftercare advice The theoretical Part of the qualification is completed as home-study with the option to come in and use our facilities to study too, the practical Lessons run over 6 dates, outlined below. The practical training day for this course will run from 9:30-1 pm. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the training days acquiring and demonstrating your practical skills. Students will need access to a pc/ tablet to complete coursework and online exams. Once you have completed all training and coursework, you will arrange to attend a multiple choice written assessment day and practical assessment days to achieve your VTCT qualification. Course Pre-Requisites: This course is suitable for complete beginners to facial skincare / beauty. No previous qualifications or experience are required to take this course. What qualification will you receive? When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a diploma certificate issued by American Beauty Academy Ireland accredited by ABT. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home or mobile. Once you have completed your assessment days you will also receive your VTCT qualification certificate (this can take up to 12 weeks to be released from the awarding body VTCT).

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule please email us on abacork@gmail.com and let us know why you cannot make it. Cancellation within 14 days will incur a fee of €150 for a half day or €350 for a full day. If this is not paid then you will not be able to reschedule. Please see our t&C.
