The course focuses heavily on practical, hands-on training, ensuring you leave with the confidence to perform the treatment safely and professionally on clients. American Beauty Academy Booking Policy At American Beauty Academy, we are committed to delivering high-quality, hands-on training in a supportive and professional environment. Please read our booking policy carefully before enrolling in any course. 1. Booking & Deposits All courses must be booked in advance via our website, by phone, or by email. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure your place. Your place is not guaranteed until the deposit is received and a confirmation has been issued. 2. Payment Terms The full course balance must be paid prior to the course start date. Payment plans are available for selected courses. A consistent payment schedule must be followed to avoid cancellation of your place. If applicable, kits will be held until full payment has been received. 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling 7 days’ notice is required to reschedule a course without losing your deposit. Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice may result in the loss of your deposit or incur a rescheduling fee. No-shows or cancellations on the day of training will result in the forfeiture of all fees paid. 4. Course Kits & Materials Some courses include kits; others may require you to bring your own or purchase separately. Kits will only be distributed once the full course fee has been paid. 5. Attendance & Certification 100% attendance is required to receive certification. Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate and will forfeit the session. Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course and all required assessments. Courses may be ABT, VTCT, or ITEC accredited, depending on the program. 6. Refund Policy All deposits and payments are non-refundable once paid. If we must cancel or reschedule a course, we will offer an alternative date or issue a credit toward another course. 7. Social Welfare / Grant Applications We are approved for Social Welfare/Department of Employment Affairs grants. A €60 administration fee is charged for processing grant forms and producing required documentation. If the grant is approved, this fee will be refunded as credit toward your course fee. 8. Mentoring & Support All students receive free post-course mentoring to support their development and confidence. One-to-one advanced mentoring is available after certification at €50 per hour, if desired.
